LS7 clutch question
googled this shim that came with my LS7 crate engine clutch and I read somewhere that this could cause the clutch to engage and disengage at the top of the pedal travel I'm not sure if this is even the shim that is in question however does anyone know what I'm supposed to do with this thing?
Any other advice would be helpful also.
thanks!
I just pulled my motor and drive train and there was no spacer behind the replacement stock clutch..
got a monster clutch I'm swapping in and it didn't have the shim either (though the slave cylinder may need to be shimed... different story)
if it's all stock you should be fine without... mine was with nearly 20k of hard driving...
now this may not be proper according to manual but it's my experience... I'll look through the helm manuals tonight if someone else doesn't chime in...
