Default Starting Issues-----2005 Z51

Hi Everyone,
Hopefully someone in the CF family can help. I have a 2005 Z51. Cam,CAI,Heads, Mild Tune. Put a new Optima Battery in a month ago. Yesterday it would not start. We had to push start it. Checked the starter, good. Checked Relay, good. Checked push button, good. All the wires seem to be in good condition and have solid connections. Still wont start. Not receiving any codes or engine lights. The push button lights up green and when you push it you just hear the starter click a couple of times and nothing. If everything is receiving power/signals WTH could it possibly be? Have any of you had this issue?

First check battery connections (BOTH ENDS) AND condition of your battery...HOW did you check your starter ???...all the wires “seem to be good” is not good enough !!...even if the battery is a month old I would still load test it !!

Load test the battery, since could have a parasitic draw problem that is causing the battery to discharge rapidly in just a few hours.

Or could just be that the starter solenoid for the connection point for the alternator and battery cables nut is loose, or even a loose battery cable to motor ground above the starter as well.

Hence starter clicking tells me that the circuit side to the start is fine, and just not enough electrical power to the starter to spin it instead.

Note, in this photo, the starter solenoid terminal for the battery and alternator cable is broken off, but like the photo since it tells you where to look on the passanger sice of the car to see the terminals.
