Radar Detector Acc Power Supply
Just got a 2007 C6 Z06 and I am loving the car. However, based on the performance of the car, I am going to need full counter-measures with my Valentine One radar detector. I have the radar detector mounted on the center of the dash with high performance velcro. The issue that I need help with is to change the cigar lighter to accessory/ignition rather than on all the time. I found the fuse box and I was going to jump the passenger seat heater to the cigar lighter only to discover that power supply was on all the time as well. This was strange as the seat heaters are only available when the car is on.
Any help with a wiring scheme would be appreciated.

eBay for Mirror Tap wire harness. I have what is called a Vision Mount for C6, also available on eBay. I will post pictures later if you want. V1 Gen 2.

Thanks for the help. Going to try one more time with finding a switched fuse in the bigger fuse box in the footwell and running it to the lighter circuit. If that does not work I will go with the mirror mount.

Used an add a circuit off of the fuse powering the same rearview mirror power supply. I then routed that circuit thru a small hole that I drilled in the fuse box to the right of the footwell and into the lighter power supply.
