Driver's door latch not working

Thank god for the override feature Just bought my first C6 today. I didn't see a thread on this malfunction but I have to believe it's a common failure. What do I need to do to fix it??

You can try this fix or purchase a new switch. A new switch is inexpensive.

Sounds like the door latch, just had to replace mine on the drivers side. Found it new for around $200, fairly simple to change.

I had to replace my latch assy on the driver side as well, works a treat now. The hardest part with the install is getting the plastic trim pieces removed without breaking something, just take your time and check out a couple YT vids.
