I agree, I never understood this obsession to have an obnoxiously loud exhaust note... so loud that it eventually becomes uncomfortable for the driver.
If one wants that much attention a large rooftop neon sign with matching PA speakers shouting what is on the neon sign.... "Look at me, my car is FAST!"
I think the stock NPP exhaust note with M2W switch is just fine, loud enough to make me smile and with a flip of the switch my neighbors can smile also.
