I am planning on sc my car and really want to go with a hearbeat sc. If i bought this kit and had it installed this year and then bought a heartbeat next year would it work on my car and would the cam in this kit be fine with sc? What other parts would I need for it to run with just the kit besides an intake? https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sour...DzBtNjBN1H3bHT
My car is 2007 base, m6, with 17/8 headers, off road x, 3 in exhaist, cai. Thank you.
Thank you.

I did the Race Proven Motorsports Stage 3 kit on my 2007 base with CNC Heads, Cam, oil pump, Headers, xpipe, etc.... plus the BTR trunnion upgrade kit. 461HP on the dyno @ 6501rpm This fall i will do the AA Supercharger.
A Heartbeat supercharger won't work with LS2 heads. You can change the heads to square port (LS3 heads) or go with an EForce supercharger designed to work with catty port heads.
If you read the comments on that video, Edelbrock appears to be the problem or is at least notorious for having issues. From what I've read about the Magunson Heartbeat, everyone has been very happy with them. There are numerous threads on here where they receive widespread praise.
I've never used either so I can't say anything definitively, but if I were you, I'd probably avoid telling people not to buy something based off of one video from a completely different company using a different product.

I've read that they use the same rotors and internals but that could be a lie? Why not just go with a proven A&A kit? It's most likely cheaper and you have more room to grow. Mine has served me very well.

How is the heartbeat unproven? More importantly, ones a PD and the other is a centri. They behave very differently. If you want power down low, PD is a better choice.

Yeah, the Heartbeat has full boost available just over idle rpm, good intake air temp control, and doesn't block so much of the radiator to cause over heating of ECT's. A lot not to like about the rig. Sheeze. It costs more, but that's about the only down side.
