Intermittent ABS light and other codes.
Just re-installed rebuilt engine. Thought I plugged in everything correctly. I have an intermittent ABS light.
1. If light is off, is everything ok until light comes back?
2. Codes originally pulled were C0281-00 Dynamic Rear Proportioning, C0550-00 ECU, C0561-71 System Disabled Info stored, C0550-04 ECU Open, P0856-00 Traction Control Torque Req., U0121-00 Lost communication with EBCM (x2)
After clearing codes, car drove about 5 minutes before ABS Light would would flash and beep then go out for a while. Then come back and go out. Pulled codes again. C0561-71, P0856-00 (x2), U0121-00 x2)
Never pulled connector from EBCM during engine project. Had to work around it as I don't think there is room to pull cable off without moving EBCM.
Anybody know where I should start looking? My plan this morning is to remove the ground connectors, sand clean and reassemble, then re-evaluate.
