Drove my 2008 Vette during the summer with no issues from either key fob. Drove it to the winter storage location(many years). Hooked up the battery tender that I used all summer. When I came back the next day I wanted to do an upload of the ECM program to HPtuners. I couldn't get to either key fob to work the ignition/acc. Even entry got intermittent. No diagnostic codes. Changed fob batteries. Did the 30 minute reprogram on both fobs and still nothing but intermittent doors/trunk. I put the key fob in the glove compartment slot and got the engine to start but nothing more. I've had a modern Pioneer Bluetooth receiver for years with no impact on the fobs so far. Any advice on how to diagnose the issues would be greatly appreciated-RandyA

There may be a new source of radio interference at your storage location. Start by driving the car a few blocks away and see if the fob works there.
Did the 30 minute reprogram on both fobs and still nothing but intermittent doors/trunk.
For future reference, do not reprogram the fobs in situations like this. It will not help and could add further problems and confusion. Fobs (actually, the car) do not lose programming.
I have my 2000 Z06 parked next to it and I tested the fobs there and there were no problems. I've also parked the car there for a number of years without any problem so I don't think there's any kind of new radio interference. I spent a while trying various combinations of push these buttons these pedals etc. etc. and finally went to the service manual decided to try the 30 minute key fob reset because it seems like after that things get complicated

I don't follow this line of reasoning. You have the same car with the same radio parked in the same place—and a new problem. So you know something has changed, and it isn't obvious what.
I would approach it methodically, starting with the low-hanging fruit. Driving the car a block is easy to do, and would rule in or rule out a stationary source of radio interference.
After I slept on it I realized that yes I will drag it out of storage and put on the road. It snowed last night so I will wait a couple days till it warms up, check for any salt on the road and take the car out. I'm old- sometimes it takes time for me to figure things out.
Update. I got ready to take it out of storage and found that the key fob in the glove compartment buttons facing out would not allow for the ignition to start the way I was able to do one time last week. Both of my key fobs, when I stand outside the car, lock and unlock the doors, pop the trunk and set off the panic alarm with the unlock button resetting the panic horn. I have a manual and I will check the grounds. Any other hint on how to diagnose what might be happening here?
Final update. I unbolted the ground for the key fob circuit that's on the frame in front of the battery. It looked good but I cleaned it anyway and I put a quarter-inch lock washer on first then the tab that another quarter-inch lock washer and then the bolt tightened and it down. Took the car out of storage, got away from the building and both key fob's worked correctly the way they should on a routine basis. Took it back into its stored spot and they started working again. Torquetube thanks for the help.
