Getting ready to put my TT back in tonight and l noticed this little fella. I'm 100% certain i didn't unplug it during removal of TT. i looked around but didn't see another end that would plug in to it. The pigtail is not that long so it can't go very far.
I thought that initially but i looked again, the o2 is in the upper right corner of the first photo.
There are two O2 sensors per bank. One before the cats and one after. If you aren't running cats or have headers a previous owner may have turned off the rear O2 sensors in the tune and deleted them.

Definitely O2 sensor plug. Probably for the rear sensors. I would bet you have an identical open plug on the opposite side of the engine.
I think y'all are absolutely right. I forgot about those. I am running LT headers into an off road X-pipe.
