C6 with p0431 code help!
Small story of the car . Its a 06 that had a ls2 with blower. I had no issues with the setup car made over 800whp . I decided to pull the motor and put in a lsa from a zl1 block with aftermarket piston rod camshaft ysi blower and spray. I also sent in my ecu to dsx for the updated os for my e38 ecu.
so the car will crank over it fires up and shuts off most of the time, it does back fire almost everytime. If i flash the ecu it will most likely start and run but runs shity.
I have checked the sensor and replaced. Replaced the pig tail. Pinned out the wires from plug to ecu.
checked the harness for damage. Checked my fuses. Checked my timing cam gear. Just about everything. I jumped around the plug with the signal wire and the car started to run great at idle code was gone so I decided to cut thr plug off and hard wire it to the harness. Checked wire to wire colors. Pinned to ecu still getting this p0431 code for cam signal. If the car starts are runs if you clear the codes it will shut off and most likely not start till you flash it again . This is very frustrating I am at a loss on what to do with this thing so hear I am.
