Default Pull TT from front?

So I am going to pull the heads soon and throw a cam in the car, as well as switch to e85 and drop a pulley on my headunit. Should make substantially more power so i feel the stock clutch defiantly won't hold it.

I figured, while I have the heads off, I can just pull the short block out. And throw my new clutch and flywheel on. As well as slave, etc.

My question is, can you pull the TT from the front? Or would I need to drop the rear cradle as well? Only reason I am asking, is because I would like to rebuild it.I planned on rebuilding it when I pullet the rear section to swap diffs. But didn't know if the TT may already need it or not.

All depends on the clutch in play.
If original ls2 clutch from the factory, will be spotty on the increased power, while if ls3, or replaced OEM LS2 clutch ,they are both the clutches out of the LS7, and can hold almost all the way up to 600HP instead. Hence from the LS3 motors, all the C6 got the LS7 clutch, as well as replacement OEM clutch on the LS2 as well. If was just the first few years of the LS2's clutch that held less power (not up to 600hp) but with the LS3 getting the LS7 clutch, the LS2 OEM clutch was dropped and LS7 clutch used as it replacement, so GM only had to carry the single LS7 clutch and parts for the LS2, the LS3 and the LS7. The LS9 clutch is a different clutch system (twin disc), including the different fly wheel, due to different amount of crank bolts for the flywheel.

As for oem LS9 clutch that motor throws 620hp at it and it good up to about 700hp.

So unless we are missing something, ls2/Ls3 NA with just cam, your not going to be making 600hp, and if the clutch in the car is an LS7, clutch will not need to be replaced to hold the power you will be making.

Its a Centri cam with full exhaust. Fixing to do a cam, pulley, and go to e85. Going to be well over 600. (if its not, I will sell it, lol)
