Default Catted X-pipe

I’m currently running speed engineering headers and xpipe on my 08 base without cats. I want to add cats or even run a different catted xpipe. Has anyone successfully added cats to the speed engineering headers? Thoughts? (A6 auto)

I'm running the same headers and x pipe on my 08. I added magnaflow high flow cats. They are welded to the headers and the x pipe is clamped to the cats. Works fine so far. The cats will need to be installed as far forward as possible to gain maximum distance from the floor pans. I trimmed a good bit off the header collectors to accomplish this and installed new o2 sensor on the cats themselves. If interested I could probably get you the part number for the cats.

Thats exactly what I was looking for. Do you have any pictures of how they turned out? I’d be interested in the part number as well.

All you need to do is cut the pipe and install them. However, not all aftermarket catalytic converters are equal, so make sure you do your research. I've heard a lot of good things about Kook's Green Cats.

I used a Magnaflow cat part# 59959.
When I first built this system I initially went with a cheaper pair of Flowmaster cats. Those were junk. They looked just like the Magnaflows but were definitely not the same cats. I did not take any pictures of the finished exhaust.
