Transmission noise
Hi Everybody,
My Vette (C6 Grand Sport Automatic transmission) makes a vibrating metal noise that I locate (but I could be wrong) in the torque tube.
My mechanic opened the rubber access hatch and checked the tightness of the connecting bolts to the converter ...
This noise only occurs at idle speed 550 rpm and disappears completely as soon as I accelerate a little ...
We have recently drained gearbox with a new filter.
The gearbox normally behaves in auto or manual mode with the paddles ...
I also investigated and consulted YT videos about this BVA 6L80 and the drive shaft .
I enclose the YT link for the recorded noise ...
We took the opportunity with my mechanic to check the whole exhaust line and nothing rubs, no noise in the mufflers, the fixings are correct ...
I think I will buy and change the two Flex joints Driveshaft GM 88894026 and the bearings
Could you give me the reference of those three bearing or the sizes: interior, exterior width diameters and width
I did not find the good stuff ...
If you have an idea or an identical experience, I'm interested !

I found the Flectors (88894026) at Rockauto and the bearings in France :
Roulement rigide 1 rangée de billes SKF ref 6008-2RS1-C3 - 40x68x15 Quantité x 2
Roulement rigide 1 rangée de billes SKF ref 6007-2RS1-C3 - 35x62x14 Quantité x 1
