Default Base 2007 c6 ls2

Hello everyone!

Was hoping someone could give me a hand on a few things.

I have a 2007, Base c6, auto. I have done the CAI, Tune, LG LTHeaders, LG x pipe and corsa exhaust. Dyno had it at 396 RWHP.

I was hoping to get it a little higher and have been looking at the Fast Intake 102/ NW TB and having them ported but I have one shop telling me it won't add any type of HP while I have read that it will def add some RHWP after a retune. Can anyone give me some feedback or has a setup where it did go up/no change at all?

Thanks!

I have a FAST LSXr 102 on mine. Unfortunately my car has never been on a dyno so I only have butt dyno data. The fast is supposed to be a good adder for the LS2 due to poor execution of the stock manifold.

I believe it will net you a gain. It will net even more as you continue to mod.

I have a 2007 Base also.
The Fast is a big improvement over the OE LS2 manifold as stated.
My suggestion is to send your Fast 102 & Stock LS2 TB to Tony Mamo @
Mamo Motor Sports (MMS) for porting. The OE 90 MM TB especially ported, (for throttle response primarily)
Flows all the air you need for 550+ RWHP and is much easier to tune as well
(just get V-Max TB Ring to eliminate step/lip at manifold entrance) you will save $450.00 VS NW 102 TB.
Unless you get like 230+ CC Heads with 230*+ Intake duration cam not worth it IMO.

I have a FAST 92 & LS2 TB both ported by Tony that was on my 99 C5 with 1 7/8 ARH LTs/ exhaust & tune.
Made a really nice difference on my stock LS1. It will go on my stock LS2.

It will ROCK on your LS2, You will absolutely see the difference on the Dyno (15-20 RWHP minimum.)
but More Importantly FEEL the difference at tip-in, throttle response & WOT!

Been there and done that. LS2 intake manifold sucks - no other way to put it. I don't have dyno numbers but years ago when I was just bolt-ons, my car picked up a few mph and .2 in the quarter. Car went from 11.50s to 11.30s consistently.
