I replaced the rear tpms sensors with sensors purchased from corvettemods.com
I went to discount tire and hand them swapped. The driver rear tpms could not be registered with the vehicle. All other three sensors complied with the tool without issue.
What can cause ONE sensor to no function with TPMS?
I placed the vehicle in accessory mode and pressed the unlock/lock buttons till the horn chirped. The discount tires employee walked around the vehicle from FR, FL, RL, RR to sync the sensors but the last sensor will not transmit/sync.
What gives?!
Am I doing something wrong? Has anyone experienced this? Solutions?

You may have a bad sensor or the battery has failed, even on the new one. Also, DT was attempting to perform the relearn process in the wrong order as you have indicated. According the the owner's manual the proper sequence follows:
The sensors are
matched to the tire/wheel positions,
using a TPMS relearn tool, in the
following order: driver side front tire,
passenger side front tire, passenger
side rear tire, and driver side rear.
I would first try this new relearn order process, which might fix the non-responding TPMS sensor. If not, you may just need to have Corvette Mods send you a replacement. Let us know the solution when you find it.
Good luck.

Sorry about the steps...they did do it according to manual my sense of left and right were lacking.
I just don't understand why it's only the rear driver side that is giving me issues. It would be just my luck if the new sensor shipped was defective and for some Devine reason,, was mounted on the rear left wheel.
I'll keep this thread updated. Thank you for your advice.
I'll stick to dealership part numbers in the future. Soany models and trims and categories for keyless and non keyless.
But in the end I did it myself I paid for the tpms tool and troubleshoot all avenues. I did it without a problem so many the discount tires employee was ignorant with the specific corvette model/year/method of pairing the sensor to the tpms.
I noticed that the sensor was recognized and the TPMS light turned off- on my diagnostic tool, the sensors digital information did not show up on the device....as of now I'm happy with the tpms light being off.
