Hiss when speakers are engaged
Issue:
* Whenever the speakers are engaged, the system makes a hiss that is noticeable unless the radio is playing pretty loud music over it
* Hiss is present on all audio sources, including when the car is using the speakers for the warning chime or button input beep
* Engine on can be on or off
* No hiss when the speakers are not engaged (e.g., volume=0, mute, and the car has not recently attempted a chime/beep)
* Hiss does not seem vary much radio volume setting (as long as radio is not volume=0 or muted)
* Speakers on both sides of the car seem to hiss
* Amp installation looks stock
It seems like there have been a few complaints about this over the years when I search, but no really useful results. This hiss feels quite loud to be considered "normal". I was thinking of trying out a used amp, but I hate to throw $$$ parts at a problem blindly.

I have the same issue that comes and goes as well.
