Steering Box Upgrade
I'm looking for some guidance.
I'm upgrading my suspension in my 05 Z51 to LG GT 2 coilovers with front and rear sway bars.

I've own my car from day one off Kerbeck's showroom and the steering has always been a bit loose. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Dial on more caster and set the camber in the aggressive end of a c6z setup. There are no aftermarket boxes available, although there are modified spindles the drifters use for significantly quicker ratios.
ive raced corvettes for 30 years so I like the oem ratio. What exactly are you trying to improve?

i believe he means he can turn the wheel a little back and forth before the car starts to react to the input....
i've had this problem on other vehicles, but not either of my c6es....

that isn't normal. Check the connection where the steering shaft bolts to the rack.... However it sounds like you might need a new rack. I don't think you need an upgrade, I think you need a repair/replacement.
