Default Surges while crusing

Hello All, My C6 is Supercharged with Meth inj. Lately I’ve noticed a very distinct “ SURGE” almost as if she’s starved of fuel for mere half a second & it’s decidedly worse in 6th & 5th. If I pull her down into 4th & keep my rpm’s up a bit higher it’s much better almost not feeling it at all. Has anybody had this distinct surging happen to their car?? I’m pretty freaked out about it. Oh ps…. When pushing hard on the “ CREST”, she doesn’t do it at all. Plz help!! Sincere thanks up front. Bobby

do you have a cam installed too??
I have the same issue with my supercharged c6 lower rpm cruising..
I also hold it in a lower gear to keep rpms up a bit and it seems to run fine.
I was searching for vacuum leaks all over the place.
I had a problem with the surging at idle too.. my tuner said the vacuum is low because of the cam need a higher stall torque converter.
Other than that she running great..
she just wants to be up in the power band of the cam 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️
hope that helps

good luck

Short of a tune, or fuel pressure/injector problem, what supercharger, since may be the Blow off/pressure relief gate is not working correctly.

Also, if running an oil lubed air filter, when was the last time you pulled the MAF to clean it?
Hence over oiled air filter ends up oil fouling the MAF sensor, and causes all kind of problems with it reading correctly.

A high% of tuners do not have the skill to tune for drivability at low rpms. The ones that do shine and the others have custore problems. They always blame it on mechanical problems. This exactly happen to me. I brought my car back and the tech took it for a 5min ride. When he came in the building he went through the garage door. I thought that was weird. I went out turned the car on and the rpms was 1300 I was like what ****. He turned it up so it wouldn't suge anymore. Went back in and asked the owner to get the teck so i can talk to him. He said he was to busy to talk WTF. Then he had the ***** to try and charge me 200 more then my original 700 tune. Put it this way the cops almost came. I just walked out. Anyway i bought HP Tuners and through the internet i fix it. It took me a few weeks put i got it. He was so far off on the low end tune that i was amazed and i'm not a tuner. And final he had to much timing by 6* i was wondering why my car was knocking 3k 5.5k. So i was trying to find what mechanical part was bad but i never did because it was the tune. jme.

You always need to first assess physical components for airflow irregularities. This could be charge pipe design, intercooler design, MAF, etc. The goal is to have the smoothest airflow possible going into the engine. Bends in charge pipe, intercooler merging into a plenum, lack of a MAF screen where one is required could all be culprits. If design or components are not an issue then turning can be the remedy. Messaging the VVE table or timing tables in the areas I’d surge can usually fix the issue.
