Did you end up purchasing from Patrick? I'm discussing with him now and can't decided between the GT7 and RS5RR so curious if you purchased.

I am having a set of Litespeed Racing GT7 wheels powder coated in "Super Chrome Plus" (19x10 front and 19x12 rear) installed when this car goes to Vengeance Racing in late March. Vengeance is handling the purchase for me.

Yes, I assume they do their own powder coating.

Any coating adds weight. Polished is realistic with a ceramic coating might be the only real option

Awesome offer, are these rims real?

I don't think magnesium wheels can be polished out. That was my first thought too. Yes, they are quite real.

Got to ask, but are planning on road coursing the car?

If yes, I bend the stock Z06 and ZR1 rims on clipping the inside apex gutters ridges enough times in itself, and on a even lighter weight rim running low profile tires as well, can see you bending the rims even faster from the same.

Don't get me wrong since the stock OEM rims are forged and easy to have straightened, but if you going fancy on another set of rims, straightening problem as needed, could get real spendy when they will need to color match the rims after the fact as well.

Unsure why you'd be concerned with wheel weight on a street car?

But, APEX makes some nice stuff.
They have a new line that is their lightest wheel to date.

Oh, there's plenty else folks would shake their heads about when it comes to me and my cars (or just ME in general!)

It doesn't have to make sense....it just has to be interesting and perhaps fun. I doubt the wheels are going to be the most non-sensical thing about this car. Stay tuned to see what happens under the hood.

Our new Sprint line of forged wheels sounds like exactly what you're looking for. They are very lightweight, but more importantly we didn't skimp on strength or durability to achieve that lightness. 1600lb load ratings, Sprint Spec inner lip for maximum durability, and knurled beads. A 19" set for your car retails for around $3500 but will be available for pre-order next month for around $3000 and free shipping.

VS-5RS Specs
19x10.5" ET36 - 20.3lbs - $859
19x12.5" ET55 - 21.6lbs - $889

Here's a link for more info: https://www.apexraceparts.com/our-wh...ged-vs5rs.html

And some beauty shots for good measure:
