Has anyone ever had a collapsed or bleeding down lifter but no audible signs of it? Meaning, no ticking or any other noises to give you a clue there is something wrong? I'm about at my wits end with this thing......Thanks!

pretty impossible it will have a 1/2 inch gap from push rod to rocker arm. I noticed mine immediately when mine collapse.

What exactly do you have going on? If you had a collapsed lifter or one bleeding down you’d hear it
Significant loss of power, and 2 cylinders running way more rich than the other 6.
Definitely something going on then. I would imagine you would hear it pretty clearly if you had a couple of collapsed lifters tho… pull your valve covers and look around, check and see if you have any up and down movement in any of the rockers.

Yeah man, that's next. Been listening with a stethoscope and haven't picked up any abnormalities. They all sound the same.

I tried isolating mine with a stethoscope and no luck. When you pull your covers if you can push down on the pushrods then yea you prob have a collapsed lifter

Yes sir.....will be doing that this week with my fingers crossed...lol
Take the valve covers off and check every one of the rockers for play. When one valve is down on any particular cylinder, the other is on the base circle. Check the ones you can and rotate the engine and check some more. If you have a querred lifter, it will show up. What's the history on your injectors? If one or two are bad, they can pour way too much fuel in the cylinder.

Injectors were already sent off to fuel injector clinic and tested and they all came back perfect.
