I have a 2009 coupe and it throws this same code to my gages and not all the time but maybe 3 or 4 times out of ten when I drive it. I can turn the car off and start it again and the code is gone . It is telling me to service the active handling and traction control. So I am not sure how to service these two systems as I was unaware they even need to be serviced. I was hoping someone could tell me what or how to service this code..? Also I was wondering that when that code is on and the dash light is on telling me to service these, is the system activated still or is it off ? As the car doing the burnout light comes on and when that comes on usually it means I turned that off manually with the button.. So not sure about that either . Any advice ?

Your car has detected a fault in one of the systems required for AH/TC to work. For example, a wheel speed sensor.
Both systems rely on many of the same sensors so they often fail together.
The car has disabled AH/TC because they cannot work reliably under these conditions. The burnout light is on to alert you to this situation.
There are codes stored. To retrieve them you need a code reader that is GM EBCM (ABS) module aware, such as a Tech 2. Super basic generic code readers won't be able to see the EBCM.
Do you have stock sized tires? When I put 305/35/19 drag radials on mine, it would show the service active handling on the dash. Shut car off and it would go away. Stock sized tires and never see it anymore.
Mine did that too.
I found the connector on the steering column the culprit.
There is a TSB about inserting a "comb" ... do a search.
In my case, even with the comb, I found the connector not secure and I added zip ties to limit movement and that worked for me.
One other area to check is the wiring from the wheel hub to the main harness.
I believe (not confirmed) when the error message is on the dash, those systems are not functioning.
