Default E85 Flex Fuel Conversion looking for advise.

I have a 2012 GS Z16, with cai, cam, headers, x-pipe, trunnion kit, and heads have not been done. I'm currently at 452hp at the wheels. I'm looking to get the most horsepower I can with this conversion, is it realistic to get over 500hp, maybe close to 550hp? I've been doing some research should I go with a 50lb or 60lb injector? Looking for some advise on this. Thank you in advance.

You will only pick up 10-15hp with E85. Waste of time without forced induction.

hel 10-15 is a stretch im told because if your NA and fighting to get every last ounce of HP then 15hp is worth it lol

If you want 500 at the wheels youre gonna need to go up on the came side and do the heads. I’m guessing your car has a relatively small cam in it currently? Stay away from e85, won’t even get you 10hp on your combo.

I'm at 512 rwhp with e85 using 72lb injectors. Duty cycle on the injectors at this level is only around 55%.

nice set up any reason you decided on the BTR 3 centri cam? how does it drive and have you run it at the track? any comparisons between the E85 and 93 gas tunes or dyno results?

Some day it will get a blower on it, so that's why I decided to put that cam in there. With the stock stall the car drives just fine on the street, no bad street manners. I think peak power occurs about in the same spot as stock(6K). Our local drag strip isn't the known for impressive times, but the best it's ran is 11.50@124 with a 1.82 60' in 2800 DA. The stock stall is really hurting it at the strip though, feels a little lazy leaving, can only leave around 1200rpm. It picked up 19 rwhp and 13 rwtq when i switched to e85, but I also put the rod modded manifold on at the same time...

not bad considering the DA and i have actually been seeing cars using supercharged cams on NA car for the drivability and yea ore than likely you picked up more from the rod modded intake then the E85 did you also add a ported TB at the same time as the intake?

Yeah, it has a Mamo ported tb, but it was on before the switch to e85.

Dyno results from last round of mods on my 2011 Z06:

- RED = baseline, pump 93 octane
- BLUE = changed intake, pump 93 octane
- BROWN = changed intake, pump E85

Car has Halltech CAI, Mamo MSD intake, fixed stock heads, 60# injectors, BTR stage 2 cam, Kooks LT headers and Corsa exhaust. E85 gave +11whp and 18-19 tq over 93 octane.

Have you considered an MSD intake?
