Upgrade C6 Steering Wheel (2005)
I love my C6, but would like to have wheel-mounted controls as on the later C6 models. Is this a modification that is possible? I can imagine it is problematic, but thought I'd ask the pro's here in this Group.

C6 (Cobalt) steering wheel, new air bag to fit the later cobalt wheels, and new clock spring to make it work.
Note, will need to add some wires to the factory clockspring connector on the car side, since the 05 did not come wired for the radio controls.
And why I bring up the cobalt steering wheel, you can get the 07-10 SS leather wheels dirt cheap/is same as the later C6 wheels, use the C6 air bag which will have the Vet emblem on it, and use the later year C6 clock spring to make all the controls work with either later radio or after market unit.
