The 6's are for a base car with slightly smoother ride, while the B8's are for a Z51 option car that will make the ride slightly stiffer, but handle better. If your looking for even better handling that the B8's, then DRM shocks, since they are B8's, but with improved dampening to keep the C6 even flatter in the turns instead.
Note, the Koni FSD are really good shocks as well if your thinking B6's, but a small fortune for the better chatter control on less than smooth surfaces over the Bilstein shocks instead.
Bluntly, the problem with coil overs with there small improvement over a trans spring set up that most can't feel or use, is that most don't have the talent to adjust them correctly in the first place, and don't end up with all that they have to offer in the end. Also, your into big bucks for a coil over set up that is fully adjustable in the first place (shock) to correctly dial in the car.
