Install that open it, and then click connect to open and edit your dashlogic.

I am still trying to figure out who makes it. Palmer Performance say they do (and you can order it directly from them) ... but, the packaging it comes in says AutoMeter all over it
Is there more than one DashLogic ?
BTW ... Summit Racing sells it as an AutoMeter product

Thanks,
I really like the product and it's configurability. The "advanced" mode lets you tweek the screens more precisely. For instance, I added all 4 tire pressures in PSI, as the metric setting only shows kPa on the stock dash.
HINT: you can setup 8 pages, and if you set one as blank, you'll be able to access the OEM screens, which would allow you to reset trip odometers & avg MPG, etc.
Also, if you have the NPP exhaust, the mirror switch works to control it between "Power" (open), "Normal" (as stock), and "Quiet" (closed). Great feature!

Thanks for the info.
So, once I purchase this, I would first program it using my home computer (with Windows 11) ... After I program for what I want to display on the car's DIC, I just then plug it into the car's OBD2 port and I'm done ?
I have been tweeking the car's tune with my HP Tuners. This will also display the items that the DashLogic does, but I don't want to haul around my laptop just to read the boost, etc.
Once you start the software, you should be able to connect to the device. Then you can setup the pages for the DIC and the HUD, and you have three different profiles you can use, which will correspond to the switch position. I'm only using "1", but I could see the benefit of having different setups for street vs track, etc.
Once the device is configured, you simply unplug it from your PC, set the switch to the profile you want to use and plug it into your ODB2 port. You don't even know it's there while driving. It will take a few seconds for it to initialize, and you should see it display it's name and version number shortly after you start the car.
The way it works is that it "injects" its data into the ODB2 stream and manages to change the DIC/HUD displays. As I mentioned, by default you "lose" the stock displays, but a trick is to leave one of the pages blank (I chose "8"), which will prevent the unit from overriding the stock system.
Using the door "Lock" button cycles the displays (DIC & HUD at the same time). You can only go "up" with the displays, not "down" (ie: unlock will NOT go back a page).
Similar goes for the HUD. It will "override" the default "Street" page with upto 4 parameters (which you can cycle along with the DIC). I setup my HUD for the "Track 1" display so that the DashLogic wouldn't mess with it.
The DIC is limited to one line/20 characters. The "Simple" configuration allows you to choose the parameters from a dropdown list. The "Advanced" configuration allows you to enter your own text in any format/layout that you want, and insert "PID" numbers (which correspond to the various sensors).
I really like this product. Adds a lot of possible information and lots of configurability. In my case, I wanted to mix metric/imperial units since I'm in Canada. I have it setup to show me coolant/oil temperatures in both C/F, as well as all four tire pressures on one line.
I can share my screen setups if you'd like. I'm only using the DIC, as I like to leave the HUD in the large format with the analog tach.

If I am reading this correctly, once the DashLogic is connected to my OBD2 port, I cannot read things like engine oil pressure, temp, tire pressure, etc by pushing the buttons that I would normally push to read these items (in other words, those buttons won't do anything anymore) ?
How about the button that if pressed shows instant miles per gallon, etc ?

The way things are going, I guess I won't be buying one anytime soon.

if you hit reset, the dashlogic commands go away for maybe 30 sec to a min. you can use your HUD and DIC normally during that time. You can also program the dashlogic to show whatever you want including those items as well.

The UltraGauge is certainly cheaper than DashLogic.

Something interesting: ... DashLogic is what Palmer Performance sells ... AutoMeter sells it as DashControl
I guess there the same?
