2012 GS - Audio question
I picked up a 2012 Grand Sport CE last June. I am in the early stages of upgrading the HU to the Alpine ILx-w650. Going through the car I found that a previous owner swapped the Factory Bose subs in the doors for 6 1/2" speakers. Rest of the car still has the Bose speakers. (i know there are some Bose haters out there but.....) I ordered new Bose Subs for the door to put it back to an all Bose system. The factory wire connectors for the Bose speakers were cut off. I have all the parts ordered and was wondering if there was a way to tell which side of the speaker is the positive terminal so I wire the new connectors correctly. TIA

can't say for sure but I used an app called polarity checker. it plays clicks and will tell you if it's out of phase or not. hope this helps.
