Default Ls7 Stroker kits

Got some things I want to discuss with other ls7 owners if they have done stroker kits before or if they are looking to do them. I feel this will help alot of people. Me personally am looking into the eagle competition 447ci stroker kit. (Stock bore size of 4.125) Trying to find a great head setup to go with it, and my stage 4 BTR cam, but a custom grind would be the best so cam doesnt matter right now. Let me know what people think👍🏼

If you want to stay with a "square" bore and stroke, I believe a 4.125" bore with a 4.125" stroke equals 441 cubes. Just my 2 cents, but I wouldn't go with a stroke any longer than that, if it was my LS7. YMMV.......

Might as well bore and sleeve while you're at it. Typically even 454 LS7's make about the same power as stock bottom end LS7's due to the rotating assembly being so much heavier than stock.

A heavier rotating assembly shouldn't hurt power. It may slow throttle response, and slightly slow the engine from gaining rpm's by a few microseconds, but the 454 should produce more power, regardless. I'd wager $$$ that in a blind listening test nobody would be able to tell which was which. If they could hear that well, they'd be musicians!!
