I bought a set of pfadt tri-y headers and an x-pipe on the forum that supposedly came off a 2009 LS3 corvette. Which was great luck since that's what I intended to install them on. Unfortunately the X pipe had been modified to get it to fit the car it was on and the modifications were asymmetrical(with an ugly weld) so before I did anything I laid them under the car to see how everything lines up. first thing I noticed is that the x-pipe is too short to reach the over the axle pipes. second thing I noticed is that the x pipe is huge compared to the stock exhaust. Got the calipers out and the Pfadt x pipe measures at 3". ok, so maybe they upgraded the whole exhaust to the 3" Z06 system? got a hold of some stock Z06 mufflers and nothings lines up right on that either. Now I'm questioning whether any of this will actually fit my car and trying to figure out what to do next.
Does anybody know how to tell what this Pfadt x-pipe is for? The only markings I found on it were P1671 stamped in the hanger bracket, and A1498 6069 hand engraved on the hanger bracket. Mystery Pfadt X-Pipe
