Default Tire pressure monitors

Just ordered new wheels for my c6. Buying new tires. Amazon has 4 tpms for $79 and tire stores sell them for $179. Anyone has opinions on the lesser ones from Amazon?

Schrader from Rock Auto. Amazon doesn’t know Jack about quality TPMS. Remember, you get what you pay for.

Or, if you prefer exact OEM monitors, call Bob's House of Wheels, a Forum vendor.

I vaguely recall that there is some difference between "OEM" from RockAuto and OEM. Lack of temperature measurement, maybe? Or maybe I'm thinking of C7. Anyway, a lot of people on CF seem satisfied with the RockAuto ones.

Bought a set from Amazon 4 years ago. Was around $80 if I remember correctly. Still working just fine.

Bought a second set from Amazon for my drag wheels. Just matched them to my car with the cheap hand held tool. Working perfectly.
