Default reduce engine power after new ecm

So I just had a long battle trying to figure out why my fans were not working, it finally came down to a bad ecm. I replaced the ecm and had my tune put back on the new ecm.
I was getting a crack position relearn code, but figured that out and all was good. The problem that I am having now is that if I turn the traction control off and try to put more that 30% or so throttle down the car imminently throws a check engine light and I get a "reduce engine power" on the dash.
The error code I am getting is p0606
When the traction control is On the car seems to drive as it should with zero issue.
Clearing the code brings the car back to normal and it will not throw that code unless I turn off T/C
any and all help is greatly appreciated.

I'm not much help, I fought that P0606 code in a Vette ECM that was installed in a 1950 GMC LS conversion. The floor shifter had the ability to a 1,2,3, & 4 shift sorta kind of like the vette paddle shift.

Never did get the exact programing error figure out that was causing it @ that 30% throttle opening. Had it on the dyno to figure the 30% TPS, it would also do it in p/n if I held the TPS @ 30%

I have the file when it finally went away if you would like to compare, not sure if it will help as the truck has zero TC. The truck did not have the option to turn TC on/off so it was doing as you described all the time.

If you copied the orginal file over you do know some items you have to do manually, such as DTC's

Just me, but before I would have replaced the ECM, would have used Tis2000/TDS to flash back in the OEM tune, to see if that solved the fan problem to start with.

Hence problem right now does not sound like its the ECM, but the aftermarket tune in play that is causing the problem.
P0606 Control Module Internal Performance ECM.

If this is a canned tune, then would get a hold of the tune company, since does sound like something is corrupt/wrong with it.

Have you ever bumped into the P0606 code before? When I dealt with it, a new Corvette ECU had been supplied from Speartech & they also flashed the TCM. I was contacted after it would not start so I visited the shop thinking it would be simple.

I had copied & saved both tunes, copied over the differences into the vette ECU. It ran, so I thought all was well. The truck was not drivable @ the time so I left. When the shop drove it the P0606 code came up. I tried several calibration changes & no success, in the end I went back to Speartech supplied tune. Just copied over the engine tune parameter such as MAF, injector data, VE & VVT etc. It has run very well with a few tweaks.

Just had no time to chase what was actually triggering the code, after several hours you just need to get it running correctly.
