Default Under hood light connection missing??

Hey, so I decided to change out the light under my hood today since it hasn't worked since I got it, and have found that the wire coming out of it isn't connected at all! The connection point it's sposed to go into is just completely gone/missing. I only got the car 6 months ago, so I don't know much of the wiring for this, etc, but the plug spot on the radiator mount is definitely not there, unless it's somewhere else? My vette is an 06' base model.

This is a photo of mine 2006, passenger side looking down. The connection is next to the radiator, lower left of photo:

Thanks for the picture, definitely seems like mine has been removed/hidden away, dangit! Will have to figure out if the cable is still around...I've read the harness splits off to that cable at the horn, can that area be accessed without removing the wheel?

The horn and the under hood lamp both come from the same wire harness just below the horns, you can reach down there with the hood open. Maybe the pigtail for the under hood lamp is hanging down there.

Thanks for the tip. Any chance someone has a picture or somehting of where I can look/feel down to find the wire coming from the horn? I'm jus tnot entirely sure where exactly that is. I spent a good 10 minutes earlier staring a tit and reaching about, but really have no clue where i should be looking at to find it from the top.

I've added a couple photos, you have to lean in and look under the frame rail to see the horns. In the first photo you can see the horns and their connector, you can also see the lamp's wire and it looks like it is part of the horn's wire, but it is not, it is below the horn's wire. In the second photo you can see the main harness, on the left you can see the barcode label on it. With you hand, follow the horn's wire from the connector down to the main harness, you should then feel where the horn splits out of the harness, the lamp wire splits out of the main harness in the same spot as the horn's wire.

Thanks! that helped alot. I was able to find the wire and put it back where it should be, only issue is, can't seem to get the hood plug to actually plug into it now. Bit difficult for me to get any real force on it at the moment due to a broken hand, so may have to wait till I can enlist some help in getting the stubborn wire plugged back in.
