The driver door of my 2005 c6 corvette takes multiple times closing it before it stays closed and sometimes pops open when driving and parked. Can't find any videos or info on this. Any ideas?
First thing I'd do is swap touch pad with the passenger side. It's an easy 10 minute swap. If the problem switches sides you found the issue and $20 buys you a new touch pad. That's the easy fix. Don't let the connection wire fall down inside the door when you unplug the touch pad.
If that's not the issue it gets more involved and expensive. Good luck.
slowly close it, and eyeball the door latch with the body. could be the touch pad as Iceaxe has mentioned. could also be loose hinges. it is also a great idea to lube all spots with lithium grease.

just switched them and its still having the same problem. It's almost like there is something blocking it from easily closing but I have no clue what it could be. All the door seals are how they're supposed to be so I'm not sure what could be causing it.

Yeah I'm going to order some grease and touch up all the points.
Just fixed my 2011. Had the same issue. You have to replace the door latch assembly that is in the B pillar. This has failed. For my car the part number is 88956758. GM has some confusing naming for this part.
