I have purchased a replacement TR6060 trans, diff, tq tube, and cradle with plans to install in my 2005 Corvette. The replacement parts are 2009-2013 (2011 to be precise). The replacement axles which match with the differential are the 33 spline axles at the hub. My 2005 has 30 spline axles at the hub.
I have considered purchase of 2009-2013 spindle assemblies to match the 33 spline axles, however, that requires use of the later ABS sensors, which I understand will not work with the early ABS and traction control set-up. I do want to retain the OEM ABS and traction control.
Does anyone have experience with matching up the later components to an early C6? What are my options? TIA!
I have an 08 Z06 transmission and differential in my 2005 C6 with no issues...don't know if that helps...
Did you have to swap out the rear cradle? I was thinking of swapping the TR6060 and 06+ rear diff but didnt know if I swap both if there are any other parts needed.
