Default Rear wing bolts

So I have this rear wing, spoiler, whatever u wanna call it on my c6. The person who installed it before I bought it only put the bolts in that were original to mount the little one with the third brake light. So the sides are loose and u can move it up and down. I would rather have it bolted all the way across so it doesn't move or vibrate, possibly wearing away the paint underneath, or just breaking while I'm driving at 300+ lol.

Does anyone know where I can get the bolts for this?

Unbolt the spoiler and it will be easy to see what is required to fix the situation. You will probably have to drill additional holes for the outside mounts. An optional solution is to use double sided tape to attach the outer edges. But either way you'll need to remove the spoiler to fix the issue. Removing the spoiler is simple, just remove the taillights and everything is accessible through the taillight openings. Removing the spoiler, drilling and bolting (or taping) the spoiler correctly is a simple one hour job. Any hardware store will have the bolts required, you just need to see what is needed.

I have seen a couple videos on how to install and remove and what not. Just didn't really know if they were special bolts that come with these. Thanks for the info. I'll pull it off in the morning and check it out.

Nothing special about the bolts. If I remember correctly they were a self tapping bolt into the spoiler. The bolts that shipped with my spoiler were to short for the outside ends so I did have to buy 1/4" longer bolts at the local hardware store. That was 4 years ago and I just can't remember exactly what was required, but it was nothing special.

If your spoiler is made like the majority of the rest of the aftermarket ZR1 style spoilers being sold, you will need these for the mounting:

(oh ... and the nuts too. Photo below don't show the nuts)

My spoiler from EOS had threaded inserts in the spoiler, it'll just depends on which one they bought. I think they were just 1/4x20.

Also I guess the holes from the wing didn't line up with the stock bumper holes so the drilled and tapped new ones and used body screws to hold it on. Plus I seen the used some sort of glue on the very ends to try and hold it down there also but that failed

Kind of hard to see the air brushing of the skulls and lightning but here are some pics.
