Yesterday I was driving my 2010 Grand Sport and I accelerated after light turned green and noticed the take off was very sluggish. My engine light came on and engine temp. Increased to 230 degrees. I noticed the rpm’s were increasing but not shifting gears on my automatic transmission. I didn’t let the rpm’s go past 3000 and was doing 50mph. I pulled off road and it towed to the house. I recently had a BTR stage cam installed without replacing torque converter. Getting a P0716 code. Has my torques converter failed?

Which stage Cam? P0716 is a Transmission Speed Sensor code so I'd start there (determine if the sensor is functioning properly and not shorted. The fact the car got to 230 is slightly concerning. The fact its not shifting could mean its put itself in limp mode. Anything over a stage 2 BTR requires a bigger stall so its possible that could be part of the issue as well.
I just started it up and drove in my neighborhood. There was no engine light and seemed to shift normal. Still taking to local Corvette shop to look it over and diagnose. I think getting transmission fluid replaced is a good idea as well even though I had it done last summer.
