Manual transmission noise
My son just got a 2008 manual with low miles, 5,000. The noise is almost like a banging sound, it happens when the clutch pedal is pushed in at very low speed and the car is coasting.
When the car is underpower and normal acceleration there is no noise.
This car has been babied from day 1. Son bought it from the original owner that we know. Never beat on or raced. Believe the sound has been there since bought.
