Question about hi-flow cats.
I know it's not the Pypes system to blame, but rather the stock exhaust manifold and cats. ( I had a 2011 Mustang GT that had tubular headers from the factory, + a Roush axle back system, that I installed & it was loud !
)So, could LG hi-flow cats alone (w/ stock exhaust manifolds still on) give me that extra little bit of sound I'm looking for?
Now I ain't want long tubes, because it is too much hassle time wise& price wise. Plus, you need tuning to go w/ that.
So, what do some of you exhaust experts have to say? I welcome and appreciate helpful info!

Beyond that, a proper set of long tube headers (Kooks are the best), X-pipe, hi-flow cats going into a factory NPP is the best of both worlds; quiet when cruising, loud when you stick it. Everything else is just pissing in the wind.

dump valves in front of the cats as well. I just don’t buy into the high flow cats. Plus if you don’t have them nobody can steal em from under your car. Why I’m 0/3 on cats and 1/3 with mufflers.
only car I have w mufflers are the Corsa extremes lol

Hmmm.........
