I'm a mechanical kinda guy and strange electrical connectors baffle me. So easy to break and a disaster if you do it wrong and so easy to do if you know how to do it right. Of course, nearly all cars built since the 1950's are designed to be simple and quick to assemble, irrespective of the difficulty to remove or repair.
Having the full set of Helm's 2008 service manuals is great for mechanical work, but assumes everyone knows how to disconnect the wiring, including what may be custom one-off connectors.
So before I break something, I'll ask for help.
How do you disconnect the wiring to the window motor?
Here's a photo..
Many thanks for your help.

This thread should help, although should have included PICs. Looks like the little arm on the right of the connector may be the lock that needs to be pushed up?
Some have different types of locking devices that need to be pulled before they disconnect like a regular plug. There are multiple different lock types on these cars. Metal tabs..to blue tabs or white tabs. It all depends on the shape of the connector.
