very slow engine cranking
06 Vette , MSD mini starter very slow to turn engine over like a very week battery. I did have the optima battery checked, its good . this issue happens if the car is cold or hot. I have also replaced the battery terminals. any ideas ?

Check ground wires where they bolt to the body and frame throughout the car. I just added another ground from battery to body and so far no slow start when hot. Some even add a ground from starter to frame and have seen improvement

After the battery (fair warning that batteries are sneaky and can be the problem even after "diagnosed as good") & wiring checks out, then need to look at the starter. May need to pull it and have it tested.
