HELP! no keys or hatch lock assembly
Hello everyone,
I have a unique situation. I purchased a 2007 c6 from the auction. The car is missing the rear hatch and back bumper. Unfortunately, the car didn't come with keys as it was a theft recovery. The only thing missing from the car is the bumpers and trunk hatch. Since the trunk hatch is missing, I cannot program a new key fob as I don't have the key cylinder assembly.
The dealer wants $1750 for a new key assembly and to program a key. That's with me supplying the key fob and uncut key I also have o tow the car to the dealer. I cannot find the part (hatch key assembly with key) online to do it myself.
Is there any other way to program a key fob without the hatch key assembly? I just want to be able to start the car so I can at least drive it to the dealer.
