Whats up! I know most people say to go with the ECS big or bigger cam for their blower kit, I have no doubt it performs best, as it is manufactured to. I've always been a coyote guy and this is my first LS. Not going to lie, I want this car to sound (and perform) like a raped ape. What LSA/duration can I "get away" with on a centri blower without blowing boost out?
What cams have others used that aren't the ECS blower cams. I'm just looking for a nasty cam that will perform well but sounds as good as possible. It may sound idiotic, but "lazy" cams just aren't for me. I'm looking for a lope similar to a Texas Speed F35, or a TICK SNS cam, just stupid aggressive sounding. I'm well aware they all serve a specific purpose, I'm just hoping to see if I can get away with a 111, or 112 LSA cam in a centri blower application.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Motor is out of the car and I really only want to do the cam job once lol. This is a built 6.0 car with T56.
I went with Cam Motion's cam with my A&A setup. It made 630rwhp @6400rpm on Mustang dyno and was losing boost pressure @6400 but I now have that corrected and will do another dyno session in the coming months.
CS 220/236 LS Supercharger Camshaft (220/236-115+5) for Centrifugal
Just use the F35 or FNS cam if that's the sound you like and neither drivability nor efficiency matter. They will work fine with a blower.
Just trying to find a good balance i guess. I like the heavy lope, but want it to perform well too. I guess i do care to a degree. Trying to find that right balance maybe compromise with a 113/114 lsa with decent lift. Trying to get a gauge for what others have done.

Thanks for the input man! Happy with the results? Any videos by chance?
I'm running the BTR LS3 centrifugal cam and it runs and drives GREAT. Car is still setup and tuned very conservatively but is a beast. Highly recommend it. 227/244 .618"/.604" 115+5 https://briantooleyracing.com/btr-ca...-32744156.html

Thanks brother, i keep seeing a ton of great stuff about your cam. People seem to really like it. Do you have any idle videos?
Man i love it! Thanks for the uploaded videos i appreciate your time. The cam sounds great and the car is immaculate! Where did you order your wide body from? Thats also on my list

I lucked out doing the wide body. many years ago found a forum member selling the complete rear setup. he decided to go even wider with a supervette kit before installing it.
found another member selling the front fenders. bought everything else through Culrag. its all Oem. Just did the color change about 6 months ago.
I've heard the spinmonster spec cam plays well with forced induction, but I have no first-hand experience. Worth looking into since it has a great chop and maintains driveability.

I made 822/738 with a paxton (ECS) 2200 kit and the 230/234 cam. It was maxxed out. I had that cam in already. I don't have any other cams in the same set-up for comparison so there is no way to tell if various changes help or hurt it. I wouldn't think big overlap would be your friend since it would be blowing the boost out during the overlap period.
ECS does this all the time so their recommendation is what I'd go with since they have factual data to go with their cams. I've never observed a 'poor' cammed result since the stock cam can make 700hp on their kits. Personally, I recommend that you max out the supercharger before a cam. I recall back in the day Chris told me that the stock LS7 cam made a great s/c cam for all of the reasons discussed.
