Default Weird noise from rear end

My son's car makes a click sound sometimes when accelerating, not sure if it's the axel.. we jacked the rear up and turn the wheel, not sure if this noise is normal.

The noise in the video is normal. That's just lash in the geartrain.

The click while accelerating could be relative motion between the hub and the half-shaft splines. It happens when you make enough torque to overcome the thrust of the axle nuts. If that's what you're hearing, you'll also have a click when you suddenly lift off the gas and the torque reverses.

Most people address the noise by chasing it with more nut torque, followed by Loctite, etc. I don't like those solutions. I prefer lubricating the splines and the thrust surface on the back of the hub. There are lots of forum conversations about this.

My wife’s rear end made noises. The dealer told her to stop eating brussel sprouts.

Try loosing the axle nuts on both rear axles and then retighting them to torque specs.

Tom
The axle nuts are supposed to be single use. If the OP decides to try this he should buy new nuts. They are inexpensive.
