Dim DIC

Are there any troubleshooting steps that I need to do to solve the dim DIC display during the day? I have turned the dimmer switch and its not working?

If none of the dash lights get bright enough when you turn the dimmer switch, that sounds to me like the daylight sensor went bad.

Is there anything on the top of the dash that may be covering the daylight sensor?
