Default Ride adjustment bolts

Hello, before doing any ride height adjustments, be sure to take a look at the bolts. Have to get aftermarket as no longer available without getting whole spring. Went with silvers coilovers and never looked back.

those are in pretty good shape actually. They sheer because the UCA and the spring arcs have different radius. I have several laying around the shop

That's about how mine looked, ended up cutting half the pad off anyway with a cable saw. Will serve me fine until I get coils

a little silicon lube helps, GM really should have done better with either the geometry or the adjuster design. I would have guessed it was an afterthought by the spring manufacturer, expect that they kept using it for decades.

That's how my fronts currently look. I'm running a Hyperco spring in the back with Delrin bolts and they seems to work well. Time will tell...

Could y'all possibly help me out? I posted this thread in the General Discussion area this morning. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ing-noise.html

What are the symptoms of worn out ride height adjuster bolt rubber bushings? I'm experiencing a loud knocking noise coming from front end. I adjusted the ride height a few weeks ago to raise the car back to factory ride height. Wondering if my adjuster bolts and the rubber could be causing this problem.

No probably not, knock is maybe a sway bar shifted to one side, loose wheel bearing bolts, etc

Here for the oem style ride height bolts.

Make sure to use some silicon electrical grease on the pads, so they last a little longer.

As for once replaced, make sure to re corner balance the car to what every ride height you want to set the car to.

As for knock, check bushings, pivots and other pivot points that may be worn out.
And yes, the stock way bar end links tend to wear out in about 30K miles to start making noise, so wise to swap a new set in at the same time (can pick up a oem set for around $100 for all 4 corners).

Here for the oem style ride height.
I tried those from 3 different places, they are all made the same and the thread pitch is wrong (really bad quality).
Actual OEM ones do not exist except used. they were never offered separately from the whole leaf spring afaik.
Sent em back and got stainless lowering ones with the swivel pads, they work really well, and ditto on the silicone grease.
my ride height was higher with those to start with so I'm pretty happy really, I needed to raise it.

99% of people would just match the adjustment length when installing new parts . We Corner balance cars for the track, this ensures all 4 wheels are carrying the appropriate load but also requires adjustable sway bar end links.

I did a simple explanation of corner balance a few years ago on my Facebook page if you are interested
