Anyone using BTR rocker arms?
Simply getting ready for that install, will not consider 1.8 rockers. Has anyone had issues with stock rocker tips? I assume that after so much lift the stock rocker would have geometry issues? It's a BTR product so I'm assuming it's good.

1.8 ratio rocker arms will increase both your intake and exhaust valve lift about .030"
Comp Cams make a very high quality full roller 1.8 ratio rocker arm that fits both the LS2 and LS3.

On the other hand, the problem with the OEM needle trunnion bearings is that they have a tendency to fall out ... The needle trunnion bearings in the Comp Cams roller rocker arms will not fall out.

I have seen issues created with aftermarket cams with something as aggressive as the 1.8's. Usually its from the aggressive ramp up. Im sure it is fine with most builds, just not a route I want to go down. I'm ok with missing out on 7-10 hp. Was honestly not considering changing rocker arms at all until I saw BTR makes a different style. Was curious if anyone was seeing issues with stockers that make the BTR's make sense. My plan was to go with the v2 btr's which are supposed to be needled bearing trunions with oil supply holes. They are also supposedly encapsulated in the bearing race.

For the last 2 years, I have been running a Cam Motion camshaft in my supercharged GS along with 1.8 ratio rocker arms with no problems.
Actually, there is nothing wrong with the OEM rocker arms (as long as the needle bearings don't fall out) ... it's just kind of a crap shoot if the OEM needle bearings will remain in the rocker arms like they are supposed to.
Sounds like the BTR rocker arms you mentioned are basically designed the same as the Comp Cams rocker arms I have except they are of the standard 1.7 ratio.
Sounds like it might be a good choice.
