My 2007 S/C'd LS7 powered coupe has been breaking up at about 5,500rpm. Been chasing this gremlin for a couple of months. Finally threw the P0120 code (TBPS). I decided to install a new accelerator pedal and a new TB at the same time. Purchased the TRQ TB, and still have the same problem. I know, I know......TRQ is made in China. I'm going to have the car re-dyno'd on the 19th to see what the turner comes up with, but thought I should replace the TB with a better brand prior to the tune. Dorman seems to have a great deal of good reviews. AC Delco is available, however, I understand that they are also manufactured in China. I am sticking with the 90mm TB size. Any recommendations as to this throttle body issue? What TB to purchase? Never had a single issue after the A & A S/C install and tune last April. All of a sudden began having this problem. Appreciate any input that you may have....thanks in advance.

Dorman is really good for oddball stuff and small parts. Window regulators, power door lock actuators, headlight gears for C4' and C5's. However, my experience with them for hard goods hasn't been the best. Out of the 2, I'd go with Delco.
Dorman for anything electrical is JUNK !!…the P0120 is for the TPS1 voltage so I don’t understand why you changed the APP sensor ??…if the ECM sees TPS1 less than .325 volts or greater than 4.75 volts the DTC is set…there are 2 sensors which are actually simple potentiometers…TPS1 voltage goes from low voltage at idle to high at WOT and TPS2 works the opposite…if you have a DVOM you can test the signal wire at idle and WOT…there are 3 wires…a 5 volt reference, a signal, and sensor ground…you should be checking ALL of those voltages…a scope is the preferred testing method because it takes millions of voltage samples per second…you’ll never see this with a DVOM…it may be best to find a diagnostic shop that uses a scope but very few do…dealerships don’t use one either….scope capture (TPS sweep) below…TPS1 going from 1.085 to 4.341 volts…DVOM voltage also enclosed...I am moving this post to Tech…and remember...ALWAYS go with OEM sensors and parts if possible !!
2007 silver blade? If so you will never get one from GM they don’t make them anymore, gold blade will not work! Nick Williams 102 SC or used stock silver blade, I can dig around I think I have one laying around? LMK
