No tune required for a catback/axleback. Save your money on an intake unless your doing it for looks. Not much to be gained there.

Agreed. Always best to work from front to back when working on increasing flow. No point in the catback if you’re still limited up front.

Definitely no tune required tho for just catback

as for intake, I have the halltech. I know this is one of the ones most commonly used.

Not quite what I was saying, most of the CAI's for these cars are little to no gain. I'd say the catback is a far better starting point and if he doesn't plan on going much further with cam/headers/ect. Then theres really no need to go away from the stock airbox unless he's doing it for appearance reasons.

yeah I slightly misunderstood. I meant in sequence it’s better to work front to back. However I see he has no plans for cam/headers so it’s likely just for appearance/sound.. which then it doesn’t matter what sequence you do it in.

Although not sure why anyone would throw an intake without H/C. Seems pretty useless as it’s not really like a cool looking upgrade lol.

You already have the best intake for the car. An improvement to it would be to install a shroud to isolate it from sucking in hot engine bay air.

The GS already pulls in cool air through the functional front scoop in the bumper. It is also isolated from the hot engine air with a gasket and shroud. No improvement really necessary over stock.
