Clutch pedal return spring?
Hello, I spent a good amount of time hunting for an answer and I have not been able to find anything yet. My c6 grandsport yesterday while driving started to have a popping noise every time i would press the clutch pedal down to the floor and release it. Well I went digging and whenever the pedal is pressed in fully the return spring pops out of the holder on the pedal itself then of course pops back into place upon release. This literally just started out of the blue and I am not sure why. I do not think there is any pedal travel adjustment or stops as I can't see that far under there without ripping things apart which I have not done quite yet. The spring does not appear to be broken and the car and clutch seem normal. Was curious if anyone else has had this issue or is more mechanically inclined than I am and can tell me a route to go down before I take it to a shop and watch my wallet get drained.
