Water in tank?
My 06 Z06 has 16,600 miles on it.
Took it out today, first time since December. Ran really well beating around for a while.
After warming it up I gave it a hard acceleration from a dead stop.
The motor started cutting in and out, or surging in both 1st and 2nd gears.
This car has not had any issues before.
Could this be water in the tank?
Anything to look for?

Maybe a stuck closed injector or two...those fuel injectors gum up and form a varnish when they sit to long....you should store the car with "non ethanol" fuel if it sits for a few months...you can put a long screwdriver onto the body of each injector and see if you can hear them "click" while the car is idling...if not just give them a few light taps.
