Next year when I build a shortblock I may look into that a bit more but I think at that point I'll be looking at other lifter options.
Going to be truthful, and no way I would do a cam swap, without pulling the heads to change out the lifter trays to new ones if the cam does have more lift. Hence plastic lifter trays are the only thing keeping the tappets from rotating, and if the trays are worn, the lifters to do rotate, going to take out the lifter rollers and the cam lobs as well.

I did lifters and new trays when we did the swap, that's why im not pressed to take it all apart at the moment just to measure the preload situation. Lifters are GM Caddys. Pretty sure it honestly just needs a bit more length.
